Storyboard For Our Main Task

I have sketched a storyboard for our Main Task. I have then scanned my work onto the computer and uploaded it to blogger.

In the image above, you can see we have repeated the same shots we have used at the beginning of our music video (of her asleep then waking up). This relates to the narrative theory of Todorov, indicating that there is now a resolution.

At shot 7 and 12, we originally wanted to use a dressing table with a mirror at the point where she pushes the items away. What we did in the music video was use a window, taking advantage of the natural lighting from the sun.

A short summary of our narrative:
    1. She is sleeping
    2. She has a dream of her being inspired to be who she really is.
    3. In the dream, she plays around, messes about and could be metaphorically searching for herself in the sense that she's walking around our chosen locations--town and Donnington Bridge.
    4. She leaves her personal belongings in these different locations because she doesn't want them to be a part of her.
    5. i.e. marble/ pebble symbolising a (green) filtered reflection of herself at the Bridge, rose portraying good vs. evil with the petals and the thorn, the ball (representing life as it rolls it is increasing in speed or age) at steps of the Ashmolean.
    6. By doing this, we understand that she wants to strip away the bond between her and these objects to see if she has a real identity without them.
    7. At the end, she wakes up and we see her grab her bag and look inside it, and we see it's empty or we see her push the items away.
